Started with the best intentions

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Well, I came into the office early this morning, looking forward to a really good productive morning session.  Arrived at 7:30 a.m. only to find there had been a water leak in our building overnight  and my own personal office had its own mini waterfall coming through the ceiling (Lucky me !) Lights blown, carpet soaked, ceiling damaged badly. ( We had the office completely redecorated in January  :-(   ) the first couple of hours have been spent in damage control, mopping up water, and organising an insurance claim.

I think I’ll go for a coffee now, on Weymouth seafront, and watch the people walking by and the boats in the harbour.  Work can wait until this afternoon. :-)

Journey of a Lifetime

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Hi everyone

Would you like to spend two weeks with me, in October 2009 going on the journey of a lifetime.  If you would then read on.

We are very limited in the amount of people we can take on this.  Probably no more than 25.

It will be great to spend that quality time with you

Warmest

Gerard

We will be going to Vietnam and Cambodia in October 2009. The numbers will be limited (  maximum 25)

We will be accompanied by Scott Milway, one of a small number of trainers from the Deepak Chopra organisation who will be teaching all members the full  Primordial Sound Medication Course and leading a daily  meditation.

This incredible journey will be linked to a charity so that all of you who come can use the opportunity to gain sponsorship and raise money to do good in the world.

Panic today in the Office

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Had a quick panic earlier. Our Goldmine CRM crashed, no one could get into it.  This is the main database and customer relationship management software that we use for everyone in the company.  During the one-hour when we were all unable to access our databases, calendar, to do list etc

I took myself off and had a cappuccino on Weymouth seafront.Seemed like the obvious thing to do.!!

All fixed now. Thanks to Oliver, our IT coordinator. scary how we rely so much on technology

Well, today is turning out to be very interesting, very busy and a little bit hectic.

Have been working with Yasmin, agreeing the content for the latest coaching tools product, which is going to be an A3  card filled with lots of questions for coaches to use in all the wheel of life areas.

Have booked in to speak to Aina later today to discuss the next steps on the Noble-NLP programme that should be launching in about six weeks.www.noble-nlp.com

Also regarding the Noble Quest, I need to put together some e-mails to send out to everyone to let them know that they can now book on.  I shall have to think of who I can ask to help me to spread the word

And of course have just been told by the financial director we have a VAT bill to pay of tens of thousands!!! As if we don’t pay them enough already.

The adventure of a lifetime

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

Had a long meeting today with Leisa and Philip who run Pioneer Expeditions, they are helping to organise The Noble Quest that we will be running in the last two weeks of October later this year.  They really have put together the most incredible and inspiring itinerary, the first week climbing one of the highest mountains in Indochina which happens to be in Vietnam and the second week exploring Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Full details can be found at www.noble-quest.com the only unfortunate thing is that numbers are going to be limited maximum 20 to 25 people  we will be taking with us Scott Milway who was one of only a small handful of people who have been personally trained by Deepak Chopra to deliver the ” Primordial Sound Meditation” course.   Everyone will get taught this wonderful programme, and then Scott will do a led meditation every day. This is truly going to be a journey of a lifetime

Back from the residential coaching course

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

I got back late last night from Eynsham Hall. Where we were running our latest residential coaching programme. There were a total of 38 people on the course from 14 different nationalities. I think that may actually be a record for the number of nationalities on any 1 course . I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the course, meeting all of those wonderful student coaches. Some of them are going to be the so incredibly good when they qualify. It really is a joy and an honour to work with them. Feeling a little bit tired today. Think I’ll take most of the afternoon off may be go for a swim
