Coach Training in Romania

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

It’s Sunday morning and I am in the beautiful picturesque mountain resort of Predal in Romania.

I am here running the three-day residential part of our practitioner diploma course, to qualify people as accredited life coaches.  Today is the last day which is a shame because it has gone so incredibly well. The students here are from all over Romania, and they really are remarkable, so keen and dedicated and willing. Also their language skills are fantastic, in fact it is quite humbling.

I have a team of six people helping me to run the course, two of our senior coaches and trainers from the UK Aina Egeberg and Cherry Claus, and four of our qualified practitioner coaches from Romania .

The resort that we have chosen to run the course in ( Predal ) is quite spectacular. Set high in the mountains with views that are to die for.  We finish tonight at 6 PM and then I will head up to the north of the country to the town of Cluj in Transylvania where we have set up some new monthly coaching support groups to support and look after all of our coaches in that area.

I am looking forward to going back to Transylvania it is a beautiful part of the country.  Next week looks as if it’s going to be busy as well.

We have the 6 day mind body & spirit show in London followed two days later by the business start-up show in the Excel centre in London.

Noble Manhattan’s new weight loss programme yielding results

Monday, May 4th, 2009

The new Meaningful Change weight loss programme launched by Noble Manhattan coaching is yielding results for many people who have joined this new programme. Announcing this to the press, Mr. Gerard O’Donovan the CEO of Noble Manhattan said that data collected so far from participants of the programme has shown encouraging results.  Within a short period of time, members of the programme who were fighting the problem with weight have found a better way to a healthier life. Participants have revealed that they have enjoyed their summers by indulging in ice-creams and soaking up the good weather on the beaching on the beach.  The weight loss programme enables people to understand and resolve complex beliefs and attitudes in a way that will create a meaningful change. It is very different from other weight loss techniques which focus on eating less or physical activity.  Mr. O’Donovan said that it is a unique programme specifically focusing on mind shift therapy.

The barbeque parties which many of the participants had to skip earlier as part of their rigorous weight loss regime have become regular again. Many male participants have said that their earlier weight loss programmes with a strict diet regime prevented them from enjoying the warm summer evenings and sizzling food. However, after joining the Meaningful Change programme they have started enjoying their summer evenings with marinated barbeque, wine and dance. All these factors have made the participants convinced that the programme is revolutionary different from other conventional weight loss programmes. The Meaningful Change weightloss programme offers a permanent solution to the problem of bring over-weight. It helps to alter a person’s behavior and pattern towards their lifestyle and food. However, this is not a short-cut programme of weight loss. The weight loss will happen over a period of time as it focuses on a mind shift rather than forcibly cutting down on food and indulging in heavy physical activity.

As part of the data collection exercise and interviewing members who have joined the programme, it was found that members have started going out for picnics, family occasions, and even started playing cricket. They have begun to enjoy the sumptuous array of picnic treats without guilt and have enough energy to play with the children. They have new found energy to join in all sorts of games and outdoor activities with their families and friends. This they attribute totally to the effective results of the Meaningful Weight Loss Programme. Mr. O’Donovan said that the programme agenda is monitored closely by a team of experts from Noble Manhattan. New approaches are considered which are implemented as a part of the programme after rigorous testing.

Many of the participants have spoken with excitement about attending summer weddings comfortably fitting into floaty dresses and smart suits. They have started enjoying toasting with champagne and variety of steps laid out like canapés on silver platter. The problem of being over weight prevented them from enjoying summer weddings in a way they wanted. The programme trainers have got great encouragement from the positive feedbacks received from the participants.  Mr. O’Donovan said that Noble Manhattan has plans to roll out this programme across the globe. He expressed satisfaction that the first feedback and data collection exercise from participants have yielded great results. In a closing note he said that Noble Manhattan and its weight loss coaches would make all endeavors to see many more happy faces who have come out of their obesity related problems.
