Although we are now only at the beginning of February it actually seems as if Christmas was many months ago.

Our International Distributors strategy is going very well.As many of you know we have opened offices in Romania within the last couple of years and also with our partners in Poland, Turkey and Canada and we now have the opportunity to partner with two more companies Internationally this year.

So if you know of any organizations or well-placed individuals that would be interested in talking to Noble Manhattan Coaching about partnering in their country, please let us know.

Our support group division is growing extremely well with five new support groups starting in Romania and five new in Poland within the next two months as well as that we are on target to launch at least 10 to 12 more in the UK by late summer.

Allan in Canada is doing extremely well and has got 3 regular meet up groups getting together every month in different areas south of Toronto with a total of over 60 people committed to coming each month.

The biggest stage of my recent book ” A Coach’s Story” is now complete. I am so glad that all of the writing has now been done.:-) Now we have to get it proof read, edited and then of course published. All being well it should be done and dusted and on the bookshelves by Easter.

We are also delighted to be able to announce that we have partnered with ” Catalyst Coaching” in the London area. It has been a real joy working with Catalyst, and over the last few months I have got to know their owner Nick Horan very well, in fact we have become good friends.

So from this month onwards we are delighted to be able to shoulder the burden of taking on all of the delivery of coach training for Catalyst allowing them to develop even stronger in their learning and development arenas. A partnership made in heaven

And as if all of that wasn’t enough we are just about to launch a most incredible face-to-face coaching course in London.

It will be 10 days face-to-face over a one-year period and we are calling it “A Coaching MasterClass with Supervision”

It will be suitable for All Coaches, All managers from organisations and even student coaches.

To find out more about this incredible course contact the office. ( very very special deals just for the first few!!)

We are also delighted to be able to announce that we are taking on a new general manager for our Noble Quest.

http://www.noble-quest.com/

Our Coach Radio Division is building furiously right now under the leadership of Greg Evaristo. www.coachradiointernational.com

Greg is fast putting together an international team of business development associates, programmers, designers and professional broadcast trainers. It looks as if we will be able to launch properly at the end of this month.

I have also decided to take on some new Personal Coaching clients over the next few months. I will be doing this in a highly dynamic interactive online group environment.( it really won’t be for the fainthearted ) This will be for people who really want to move forward and make 2010 the year when their life really starts to take shape and they achieve the success they wish to.

If you would like to find out about being coached by me for one hour once a month then please get in touch with Stacey Melvin at staceymelvin@noble-manhattan.com

In fact one of the most hectic times in the last year. I am currently at the residential training course at Eynsham Hall near Oxford .(http://www.eynshamhall.com/)

We have fantastic men and women who have flown in from all over the world, Deborah from Canada Lavinia from Romania, Monica from the south of France,Lukasz from Warsaw in Poland to name just a small few.

As well as our intensive coaching residential program we also have a large exhibition happening at the Olympia in London being run by Emma and her team

while at the same time Vali and her team are running a five day exhibition in Bucharest.

The head office team are also preparing for our five day exhibition in Orlando in Florida which starts the day after tomorrow so I have to fly over early tomorrow morning with Gordon and Christopher and others to oversee that.

I have to say though that I am really looking forward to it. I am bringing my family with me so that we can also have some holiday time together and possibly go to Disney World etc.

Yesterday, I took two motorbikes out for a test ride. The BMW 1200 GS and the BMW 1200 GS adventure.

Both from CW’s. ( who have won the Best dealership prize for the last five years in the UK)

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed both bikes and I’m very tempted to get one.

The dealership couldn’t have been more helpful, and not in anyway pushy or salesey.

I suppose the question I really have to ask myself is ,bearing in mind the fact that I live in Weymouth in sunny Dorset, do I need an all-purpose world beating adventure motorbike,

That will go down jungle tracks, cross deserts, climb snow-covered mountain wilderness and deal with all weather conditions.

And, I guess when I am completely honest with myself the answer has to be

Absolutely, of course I do.J

The day before I went to the local Yamaha dealership and had a look at the new FJR 1300,another beautiful bike.

So, now I have a decision to make !!!!!

The difficult thing is my wife loves the Yamaha and really does not like the look of the BMW. I however love the BMW!

So – Bike or divorce ??

Got up at 3 AM this morning in order to get a taxi to the airport and fly back to Luton.

Arrived back at the office at 12 noon. This has been my longest extended trip without a break for quite some time, (13 days) and it really is nice to be able to see everyone in the team again. ( even though I don’t suppose they really missed me)

Last night I attended the Coaching Support Group in Warsaw. I have to say it was the best run group I have yet seen. Adam, is doing a magnificent job. It was run like a military operation. In fact he had to turn people away, over 40 people wanted to come and there was only room for 35.

http://www.coaching-support.com/group.php?MemberId=596&Town=Warsaw&Country=Poland

He is demonstrating real organisational skills and great leadership.

I did a presentation on Shamanic Coaching and the power of energy when working closely with the client.

I also took the opportunity of letting everyone know that they can now have a free membership of Big Lif3e (www.biglife.ws)

And the fact that we will be launching Colour Coaching early in the New Year.that went down really well.

Pioneer Expeditions, a leader in expedition travel to remote and extraordinary places across the globe has been selected by Noble Manhattan to run a spiritual adventure program for the company. Announcing this to the press, Mr. Gerard O’Donovan the CEO of Noble Manhattan said that as a leader in expedition travel, Pioneer Expeditions would be able to bring the best value to the Spiritual Adventure Program of Noble Manhattan. The expedition will be a life transforming adventure trip to an exotic part of the world with a little bit of physicality thrown in and a lot of adventure. The highlight of the trip would be the opportunity to interact and spend time with Mr. Gerard O’Donovan who is the founder of Noble Manhattan Coaching, one of the leading life coaching Institutes in Europe. The spiritual adventure trip would also give members of the group an opportunity to interact with Scott Milway, another luminaire in the life coaching arena and also learn the “Full Primordial Sound Technique” as taught by another great life coach Deepak Chopra. The entire cost of the adventure trip is £1600. Many of us would not be aware that the course fee for only the “Full Primordial Sound Technique” is £600.

Mr. O’Donovan said that the concept of spiritual travel existed in an informal way for decades. Even the Beatles visited India to seek solace in the Eastern system of meditation under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the late 60’s. The spiritual trip conducted by Noble Manhattan would not only be a spiritual trip, helping every member of the group to re-discover themselves but would also enable members to enjoy the beauty of an exotic location in another part of the world. Pioneer Expeditions is one of the leading expedition companies which has worked with other leading organizations for conducting exotic travel trips in different parts of the world. Since this is an unique trip, the objective of this trip will be different from other tours conducted by Pioneer Expeditions. Therefore a team from Noble Manhattan has worked very closely with Pioneer Expeditions to chalk out every details of the trip. Pioneer Expeditions on its part has expressed great satisfaction on being chosen as the travel partner by Noble Manhattan. A senior executive of the company said that it is a privilege for Pioneer Expedition to be a part of this unique trip. The company has conducted exotic and adventure trips in different parts of the world for many leading organizations. However, being chosen by Noble Manhattan for this unique trip gives a sense of pride.

The journey will also be a gateway for charity as members have the option of donating to the Noble Foundation. At the end of the trip, members can feel the true change that a spiritual travel can bring to their lives. The quest for knowledge, truth and understanding can be fulfilled by being a part of this unique journey being conducted by Noble Manhattan Coaching. Mr. O’Donovan expressed hope that the experience of Pioneer Expeditions in conducting exotic tours and Noble Manhattan’s experience in life coaching would make the trip a truly unique experience for members in terms of spirituality, self realization and excitement. The trip has already drawn wide attention and bookings have already started. Mr. O’Donovan said that the team at Noble Manhattan is working all-out with Pioneer Expeditions to close out any final loops in terms of logistics. He mentioned that this unique trip will be the first of many trips that will be conducted by Noble Manhattan. In the final note, he thanked the Pioneer Team for all the support and expressed hope that this new travel partnership will yield great results.

The exotic destination of Vietnam lies in Southeast Asia’s center, bordering China in the north, Laos and Kampuchea in the West, and the Pacific Ocean in the east. The entire country stretches from the Ha Tuyen province in the north to the Minh Hai province in the south, and includes thousands of enticing offshore islands and striking archipelagoes.

Archeologists date Vietnam’s genesis to approximately 300,000 years ago. Official history, however, dates Vietnam’s beginnings to about 4,000 years ago. Although the French governed Vietnam from 1858-1954, the name “Vietnam” conjures images of the war with the United States, which ended more than twenty years ago. Today, Vietnam welcomes tourists from many nations to its lush, green interior, where striking cultural sights and sounds abound. With tropical temperatures year round and the welcoming smiles of its people, the country is a popular destination for tourists seeking an off the beaten track” journey that artfully blends the physical with the spiritual.

Cambodia, bordering the Gulf of Thailand to the south, Thailand to the east, Vietnam to the West, and Laos to the North, was founded from 802 to 1431 A.D., stretching during its peak as far as the Thailand-Burma Border in the west and Wat Phou of Laos in the north. Ancient Khmer rulers enforced unity among and enhanced prosperity, leaving behind exceptional monuments such as Angkor Wat and numerous unique sculptures and artifacts, as well as a people who pride themselves on showcasing their country’s stunning contrasts.

The most popular Vietnam and Cambodian attractions include:

According to Wikipedia, “Since 1991, the site has been maintained by the World Monuments Fund. It has continued the cautious approach to restoration, believing that to go further would involve too much guesswork, and prefers to respect the ruined nature of the temple.” Preah Khan is a huge and interesting monastic complex that draws visitors from across the globe.

Neak Pean was originally designed as one of several hospitals built by the king. Based on the ancient Hindu belief of balance, four pools connect, representing water, earth, fire and wind, with a central water source in the middle. Stepping into these pools was thought to balance the bather’s elements and cure disease. A statue of the god Bahala stands guard to prevent drowning.

One of the world’s most beautiful destinations is Angkor Wat, “the Pagoda of the City” in Angkor, Cambodia. Once a funerary monument built by a vast army of slaves, builders and craftsmen who labored to quarry, transport and haul the stone into place and create the numerous statues and carvings adorning almost every inch of the complex, Angkor Wat now stands a surreal testament to a once-superior civilization who enjoyed a palpable appreciation for art.

Understanding Angkor Wat

Formerly a capital city serving more than one million people, Angkor Wat was also a religious center and the main building in the Angkor complex. Built by King Suryavarman II somewhere between 1113 and1150, the sandstone construction of Angkor Wat lasted 37 years, spreading over three levels and surrounded by four protective walls.

Angkor Wat was built to represent the entire universe, with a center tower symbolizing the center of the universe, five towers symbolizing the five peaks of Mount Sumeru, the outer wall representing the end of the world and the surrounding moat representing the surrounding ocean. Originally, the uppermost level of Angkor Wat was a holy place, with access restricted to the high priest and the King.

The Legendary Beauty of Angkor Wat

When one visits Angkor Wat in the morning, the light is luminescent, highlighting the beauty of the bas-reliefs that embellish the structure. In the evening, the towers turn to gold as the brilliant sun slowly sets. Twilight often serves as a backdrop for millions of bats who exit the monument for an evening’s flight, leaving visitors with a spectacular sight that appears at first to be huge columns of smoke rising and dispersing in the wind.

During the Angkor complex’s most glorious period, the Khmer Empire reached its pinnacle as a supreme power in Southeast Asia. Today, one can still feel the might of that nation and quickly comprehend the strengths that combined to build this blazing monument to religious devotion. Although we will never know the names of those who toiled so long, Angkor Wat still stands today to tell the story of the people, customs and culture that once filled this magical place.

Join Noble-Quest in Angkor Wat

If Angkor Wat sounds like one of those rare, stunning wonders you simply must experience for yourself, your chance has come. Through a charitable foundation, twenty-five fortunate men and women have the unusual opportunity to partake in a two-week expedition to Cambodia and Vietnam that holds the potential to change lives.

Noble-Manhattan Coaching, one of Europe’s longest established coach training companies founded by CEO Gerard O’Donovan, presents Noble-Quest. Joining the group is Scott Milway, trained by the Deepak Chopra organization in Primordial Sound Meditation and ready to lead daily meditations for the group.

If your idea of the perfect vacation includes adventure, fitness, culture and spirituality… the chance to glimpse a stunning destination of natural beauty, unusual culture, and rarely seen ancient artifacts… communing with your peers in a satisfying environment of deep spiritual energy and physical activity… support from experienced world travelers…please visit http://www.noble-quest.com to reserve your special spot for this momentous journey.

Noble Quest, a unique life transforming two-week expedition to an exotic part of the world has been scheduled between 16th and 31st October 2009. Announcing this in a company press release, Mr. Gerard O’Donovan the CEO of Noble Manhattan and the man behind the Noble Quest initiative said that the expedition will be a life transforming two-week adventure trip to an exotic part of the world with a little bit of physicality thrown in and a lot of adventure. The first trip of the Noble Quest will be to the Far East countries of Vietnam and Cambodia. This will be a one of a kind journey which will include a visit to the religious places of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, spending time getting to know the peoples and culture of Vietnam and Cambodia and also an adventurous mountaineering session. The trip will also include a visit to Preah Khan, a huge and interesting monastic complex, Neak Pean, a Himalayan-style lake and sanctuary and East Mebon, a temple-mountain.

Mr. O’Donovan said that the idea of Noble Quest is to transform people’s lives by spirituality, adventure and understanding the social fabric of an unknown land. It will help people to re-discover themselves with the help of a spiritual guru who will be accompanying the team members on the trip. Mr. Scott Milway, one of a small number of trainers from the Deepak Chopra organisation will be teaching all members the full Primordial Sound Medication Course and leading a daily meditation session. The unique 14 day expedition will start from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam and team members leave Vietnam for the United Kingdom at the end of day 13.

Mr. O’Donovan said that the uniqueness of the Noble Quest programme is also about charity as much as it about spirituality. Members of the expedition have the option of donating to the charity run by the Noble Foundation. The cost of the expedition excluding flight charges are £1600. However, members are encouraged to raise a figure of £3500. The additional sum will be donated to charitable causes through the Noble Foundation. Mr. O’Donovan in his release said that members have the chance to book their place in this expedition for a sum of £320. Since the number of members for the expedition will be limited to 25, booking in advance will help to confirm the slots. Mr. O’Donovan said that he expects the booking for this expedition to be completed within the next couple of months.

The itinerary will include a climb of the highest mountain in Vietnam, Mount Fan Si Pan. This extraordinary event by a large group will be adequately highlighted. Members can ask for donations from local businesses and organizations who may be interested to highlight their business or organization atop Mount Fan Si Pan and associate themselves with Noble Quest. The arduous climb of the mountain and visit to different temples in Angkor in Cambodia, makes this expedition a true combination of spirituality combined with physical challenges. The sessions by Scott Milway, visits to the villages of Vietnam and interacting with the local people puts this expedition in a totally different niche. Mr. O’Donovan said that this trip is not complete without its share of celebratory dinner and visiting the ethnic markets in Cambodia and Vietnam. People who are interested in being a part of this unique expedition can visit the Noble quest website and get all information about the trip. Noble Quest will follow up with many more such expeditions each year. As a leader in life coaching, Noble Manhattan will bring all their experience to make this quest the most memorable journey of a lifetime for all the members.

Here’s How Mindfulness Can Help

Have you ever sat down to watch TV with a bowl of popcorn on your lap, then suddenly realized twenty minutes later the bowl was empty? Have you ever driven somewhere and arrived safely, only to realize you didn’t really remember the trip?

These kinds of experiences happen to everyone. Today, many of us refer to this mindless activity as “being on autopilot”. Many daily habits can be completed without our full attention. It seems our minds are constantly running ahead to the next activity to be completed, the next phone call, or meeting, or place we need to be.

All of this multi-tasking, however, is taking its toll on our lives. A bit of inattention now and then is not necessarily a bad thing. But sleepwalking through life, always rushing off to the next thing and never truly living “in the moment”, can come at a high cost. Relationships with family, friends, and coworkers eventually suffer. We miss out on the special moments that happen every day. We ignore important messages about our health, our well-being and our life. Our bodies and minds remain in a perpetual state of stress and self-criticism for not being “better, doing “more” and being “more successful.”If multi-tasking is the disease, then mindfulness is the cure. Mindfulness is the practice of paying more attention to ourselves and the world around us; achieving an awareness of what is going on inside our minds and bodies, and outside, at the very moment. We all have the ability to practice mindfulness. It is a simple matter of establishing a new habit of paying attention, not to what you have to do tomorrow or ten minutes from now, but right now, in this minute. Or, as some describe it, to simply be “here” as life unfolds before us.

Once you are able to understand and grasp the spirit of mindfulness, it is the “doing” that helps one to become more informed, responsive and healthier in body, mind and soul. Every minute of every day takes on new meaning, and your ability to embrace life and find much-needed emotional and physical balance becomes effortless. While mindfulness can force us to face painful issues long buried, most people are happy to remove old burdens and embrace the future with a renewed zeal for life after learning how to apply mindfulness in their everyday life.

Of course, achieving this state of relaxed, aware mindfulness takes some practice. And that is exactly what will occur when you accept this special invitation from the U.K’s leading professional coaching company, Noble-Manhattan, LLC. Join founder Gerard O’Donovan and Scott Milway, a highly-respected trainer from the Deepak Chopra organization, on the two-week mindfulness expedition known as Noble Quest.
