I got back very late last night, almost midnight from a most wonderful and educational three-day trip to Poland.
I’ve spent the last three days with the Board of Directors of one of the biggest and most respected business development Institutes in the whole of Europe.
In particular I was working with the PhDs in charge of their research department.

It’s interesting that in the world of coaching although there have been a number of studies done on the effectiveness of coaching and measuring elements of ROI ( Return on investment), I have never been overly impressed with the quality of that work.

I am delighted to say that I have now come to an agreement with this prestigious organisation, their research department is now going to work very closely with Noble Manhattan coaching worldwide, conducting a number of very sophisticated in-depth research programmes into how effective coaching is

• With Executives
• With Teams
• Within Divisions
• and within corporations as a whole

The investment is going to be quite substantial, however I feel that it will really be worth it in the long term.I think we will be able to provide the world of coaching with outstanding results showing just how effective coaching can be.

Well, what an interesting and fascinating week it has been so far. I am writing this from my hotel bedroom in Bucharest in Romania. Packing right now and getting ready to go to Warsaw in Poland.

 The last week has been just so jampacked !! From the moment the plane landed on Monday afternoon it has been meeting after meeting briefing after briefing. We did a very large introduction to coaching event here in Bucharest and had some amazing people.

Then we flew to the northern city of Iasi in Moldova. This was a first for me and I had been looking forward to it quite a lot. I was not disappointed, the city is so incredibly beautiful with dozens of magnificent churches , Museum’s, palaces etc

We stayed at the Ramada hotel and did another ” Introduction to Coaching” event.

What an eye-opener !!! We had so many people arrive we didn’t have enough chairs or space and had to do some rearranging ( very quickly) the response to what we are offering is just magnificent.

So it looks as if I shall have to go back to Iasi on a regular basis.

 Then we flew straight back to Bucharest just as a large three-day Mind Body and Spirit exhibition started. We had a large exhibition stand there and have about 12 of our team helping.

I ran a workshop on Friday afternoon on ” Spiritual Coaching” the room was full.

This week we also had our first coaching support group meeting in the city of Timisioara (29 people came to that first meeting) this is run by our new coaching support leader Vali, what a great job he has done.

 I have to say huge thanks to our country head here in Romania, Valerica Cojucaru , she is doing a magnificent job.

Where do we find these incredible people ???

 Well, I have to go now to catch my plane to Warsaw.

Writing this from my hotel in Warsaw in Poland.. Had a good meeting today with Lukasz our general manager in Poland.

 It was cold when I arrived at the airport this morning, -6° and has continually got colder throughout the day

.So I did what any good self-respecting life coach would do, I took myself off to my favourite café in Warsaw,

The Karma café just off Konstitution Square and had a couple of hot mulled wines while I read my latest book.

 Come to think of it my meeting today was spent in a nearby Thai restaurant. Does that mean that most of my business life revolves around restaurants and coffee ?? And if it does is that a bad thing ?

It’s snowing outside now, my first snow of the year, in fact it makes it feel just like Christmas. I’m looking out of my hotel room window down the length of Konstitution Square and it looks really lovely and festive with all the Christmas lights.

Tomorrow I’m doing a large introduction to coaching event here in Warsaw, looking forward to it very much.

Got up at 3 AM this morning in order to get a taxi to the airport and fly back to Luton.

Arrived back at the office at 12 noon. This has been my longest extended trip without a break for quite some time, (13 days) and it really is nice to be able to see everyone in the team again. ( even though I don’t suppose they really missed me)

Last night I attended the Coaching Support Group in Warsaw. I have to say it was the best run group I have yet seen. Adam, is doing a magnificent job. It was run like a military operation. In fact he had to turn people away, over 40 people wanted to come and there was only room for 35.

He is demonstrating real organisational skills and great leadership.

I did a presentation on Shamanic Coaching and the power of energy when working closely with the client.

I also took the opportunity of letting everyone know that they can now have a free membership of Big Lif3e (www.biglife.ws)

And the fact that we will be launching Colour Coaching early in the New Year.that went down really well.

Well, here I am sitting in my hotel room in Warsaw slaving over a hot laptop dealing with my never ending stream of e-mails.

I went for a Thai massage last night in a place called the Thai house just around the corner from the MDM hotel ( where I am staying) it really was a great massage and very well priced 120 zlotys equal to about £25 

Today I had a really great experience, went out for a walk and a coffee this morning and found about five fantastic bookshops one after another. I couldn’t resist buying some more books. ( my wife will kill me) my suitcase is already verging on my airline limit !!

I will have to do some fast talking at the check-in J

 Looking forward to attending the Warsaw coaching support group meeting tonight.

I am going to do a presentation on Shamanic Coaching.
